Another retirement community motivated by the musical styling’s of Jimmy Buffett is on the way.
Margaritaville Holdings, St. Joe and Minto Communities USA have teamed up to pursue the development of a new Latitude Margaritaville active adult community in Bay County, Florida. The initial 2 such communities are coming combine in Hilton Head, South Carolina and Daytona Beach, Florida.
The most modern community would initially have three-thousand homes, but the surrounding St. Joes Bay-Walton Sector Plan is entitled for up to 17,000. The sheer size of this part of real estate close to the water was a big reason this chance was an amazing one, according to William Bullock, Mintos Latitude Margaritaville devision president.
Resident who moved into the designed Latitude Margaritaville Watersound in Bay County would have right of entry to amenities such as fitness activities, resort-style pool, hobby rooms and game, learning programs and art, live fun and Margaritaville, themed food and beverage ideas. Other perks for locals would lie in the neighboring coastline.
“Based on the victory we are viewing at Hilton Head and Daytona, we are extremely confident that has the capability to spread to countless numbers,” Bullock told Senior Housing News.
Construction has already begun on the $1 billion project, which is guessed to have 6,900 homes in a community based on Buffets no-worries bit. This community will provide residents walkable neighborhoods and a town center with an indoor lap pool, fitness facility, and spa. Signature Margaritaville drinks and food, a band shell for live fun, a resort pool, and a private beachfront club on the Atlantic.
“Those beaches are some of the top beaches in all of the America,” Bullock said. “It just has a lot going for it, from a locational viewpoint.”
