Breathtaking Indonesian Islands You Should Visit

May 4, 2023

The Maldives are a must-visit destination for adventurous summer vacationers, with their picture-perfect beaches, turquoise lagoons, and lush tropical vegetation.

The resorts in the Maldives offer a wide variety of luxurious amenities and services. These hotels boast fantastic on-site amenities and breathtaking vistas of the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and white sands. These are designed to provide you with permanent, unrivaled opulence and pampering.

The islands of the Maldives promise visitors turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and an abundance of marine life. Visitors seeking a tranquil getaway in a setting of pristine beaches and exotic tropical plants and animals will find paradise here. Maldives is the place to soak up some rays, swim some waves, and breathe some fresh air.

1

Angsana Ihuru

Divers will find their paradise at Angsana Ihuru, where they are free to explore the famous Ranamaari shipwreck. However, Spa enthusiasts, families, and foodies alike will all find something to enjoy at Angsana Ihuru. The resort’s 45 charming island villas in the North Malé Atoll of the Maldives offer direct beach access and are surrounded by tropical foliage.

Body treats at the Angsana Spa are freshly concocted with local ingredients to create fragrant and soothing concoctions right before treatments, while the essential oils of jasmine and frangipani waft gently through the air.

2

Angsana Velavaru

A. V. Angsana Angsana Velavaru, or “Turtle Island” as it is known in the local Dhivehi language, is a Maldivian island resort that boasts a private lagoon as well as activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, and catamaran tours.. All of the 79 private villas at this five-star tropical retreat have direct access to the beach, and there are also 34 villas floating in the ocean, making this the first independent collection of water villas in the Maldives.

Located in the Maldives’ Kaafu Atoll, Vabbinfaru Island is a tropical paradise with pristine coral beaches, turquoise waters, and a house reef teaming with marine life such as turtles, white tip sharks, manta rays, lobsters, and more. There are five different all-inclusive vacation packages available at the resort, and the Angsana Spa is the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring.

3

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru is a resort in Maldives with 48 private pool villas and thatched roofs, popular among vacationers looking for peace and quiet (and perfect for romantic vacations). With the help of the resort’s experienced boat captain and his deckhand, guests can learn traditional Maldivian fishing techniques. Guests who learn to fish using the local handline technique can reel in all sorts of fish, including jacks, barracudas, and snappers. What’s the size of the fish you reeled in? The next day for lunch, the resort’s chef will prepare it. There are activities for every type of tourist, including Maldivian cooking lessons, snorkeling safaris, stingray feedings, and reef cleanups.

Sustainability is a top priority at all Banyan Tree resorts in the Maldives. When it opened in the early years of 2004, Banyan Tree Maldives Marine Lab was the first resort-based facility in the Maldives. Located between Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Angsana Ihuru, the Marine Lab’s primary goals are to educate locals on the importance of marine conservation and sustainable livelihoods, and to facilitate the fieldwork of visiting expert scientists.

Since its inception, the Lab has served as a beacon for Banyan Tree’s sustainability initiatives in the region, spreading awareness about the importance of marine conservation to local schools and communities and promoting and piloting sustainable livelihood options for locals.
